• Indigo Blue, called Indy at home, is very affectionate. She follows Rick into the kitchen when he prepares his breakfast. She does not want his breakfast; she just wants to watch and get the occasional stroke or kiss. Throughout the day, she will let me know that she wants to be held. I never have to ask for a hug. However, Burmilla/Asian cats in general are a little more reserved around strangers. I would not expect Indy to run to the door to greet a visitor. Rather, she will take some time to assess the situation, and welcome the guest when she is satisfied that no harm will come to her.

• Hrizantema, called Cali at home, is the only Mekong Bobtail in North and South America. We kept her wonderful son, Little Tsar, and she is now ready for adoption. She never had any health problems and can live until 20-25 years. Cali has a wonderful personality; she likes all people and cats around her. She is beautiful and absolutely unique.
