Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together...
IN MEMORY OF OUR SEYLA
Aldis Debora of SacredSpirit
Debora was our beautiful blue Burmese mother. At home we called her Seyla, and it is her face that greets people when they come to our web site. She was our first breeding cat in the SacredSpirit Cattery. Sadly, she died on 3 September 2004, after suffering from an incurable disease. We buried her in our garden and, with her, planted a European white birch, the national tree of Russia. Seyla left behind her many wonderful children, many of whom have gone on to preserve her memory through grandchildren and even great-grandchildren.
We very much loved you, Seyla, and will remember and love you always. This is your virtual memorial. Excuse us, Seyla, for being unable to save you; but we will hold onto our memories of you and see you at the bridge...
IN MEMORY OF OUR BLOSHA
Magic Talisman Djessika of SacredSpirit
Djessika was our beautiful platinum Burmese mother. At home we called her Blosha. Her favorite roost was a wide shoulder. She could sit there all day, or at least as long as her human would let her. Blosha was Seyla's grand-daughter. Sadly, she died on 8 November 2007 from complications following spay surgery. We buried her near her grand-mother. Blosha left behind her many wonderful children of her own.
We very much loved you, Blosha, and will remember and love you always...
IN MEMORY OF OUR DIMA
Fairy Dream Diamond of SacredSpirit
Diamond was not with us for very long, but gave us two wonderful litters and a lot of love. His loss on 11 August 2008 was tragic, at just 2 years and 2 months of age, and with no explanation. At home we called him Dima. He loved to play. We buried him in a special place.
You will always be in our hearts, Dima. We will see you at the bridge...
IN MEMORY OF OUR RIKA
After the loss of Seyla, Rika became our Grand Dame, giving us seven wonderful litters. She went to the bridge much too soon, but she was at home with loved ones when she passed. We will always remember Rika. She was a great mom to the young ones, even if she wasn't their mother.
We will keep our fondest memories of you always.
